A food processor was experiencing low hydraulic residence times at one of their anaerobic digesters during the discharge of waste activated sludge. a feasibility study identified that the most cost-effective option was to thicken and anaerobically treat thickened waste activated sludge (TWAS) in a new digester designed specifically for that purpose.

Casitas Volcano in Nicaragua After the Nicaraguan government published new wastewater discharge regulations, a Nicaraguan Sugar Mill was required to select a new wastewater treatment plant.  A feasibility study consisting of a wastewater characterization program and a feasibility study was conducted to identify the most cost-effective technology for wastewater treatment.
